NATIONAL RESOURCES FOR LOCAL FARMS
The CSA Innovation Network (CSA-IN) connects farmers, technical assistance providers, and consumers to increase the viability of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). CSA-IN provides educational programs, tools, idea sharing and engagement opportunities that advance stronger, more equitable CSA programs. We work together to build awareness of the meaning and value of CSA.

CSA connects individuals and local farms in a mutually supportive relationship. In a CSA, people become members of a farm in exchange for recurrent shares of the seasonal harvest. This relationship transcends the usual commercial transaction by having farmers and members share the risks and benefits inherent to agriculture. CSA provides consumers with a deep connection to their food and the people who grow it. It provides farmers with a reliable market base ahead of each season.
